Jalin T. LeAndre

Senior Associate

Jalin LeAndre is focused on evaluating the damages of construction claims, including schedule/delay impacts on project costs, and other construction-related damages. He also supports the project team through document management and data collection. He performs project evaluations, technical research and develops conclusions/opinions for contract dispute analysis and resolution.

Prior to CPMI, Jalin worked as a forensic accountant for an advisory firm, where he provided a full range of accounting advisory services such as fraud, forensics, valuation, and litigation support. He assisted clients in the retail and manufacturing sectors, automotive, environmental, healthcare, hospitality, pharmaceutical, steel, telecommunications and utilities. In addition to claims analysis, Jay also has experience with business valuations. He has worked on claims throughout the United States, Europe, and Puerto Rico.

Project Highlights

Valuation of a University System – Performed a valuation of a University System with multiple campuses valued at over $70 million. Conducted industry and statistical data research, and provided analysis. Assisted in the preparation of valuation reports, and litigation support.

International Tax Fraud and Money Laundering – Provided assistance to the United States Government to prove Tax Fraud and Money Laundering allegations that exceeded $100 million. Analyzed tax returns, financial statements, general ledgers, bank statements, payroll, and other related documents for misappropriation of assets and hidden assets. Assisted in the preparation of expert reports, depositions, trial, and other deliverables.

Lost Profits of a Hotel – Determined lost profits of a prominent Las Vegas hotel associated with the COVID-19 virus state shutdown. Evaluated the historical performance of the hotel and contracted companies within the hotel to measure the impact of lost profits, expenses, and other costs. Provided analysis, drafted reports, and assisted with litigation support.
