Jean Lehman specializes in the measurement and evaluation of financial damages in litigation and insurance matters. With over 25 years of experience as a forensic accountant, litigation consultant and expert witness, she has authored expert reports for various federal and state courts as well as testified as an expert at trial, in deposition and at arbitration/reference hearings. Ms. Lehman focuses on construction in various areas including government projects, hospitals, retail, manufacturing, hospitality, and real estate.

Project Highlights
Lost Profits of a Hospital — Determined lost profits of a hospital associated with alleged construction defects. Evaluated hospital performance and the impact of lost space on revenues and expenses. Provided an affirmative lost profits report and the matter settled.
Damages for Hotel Subcontractor — Evaluation of remediation, mitigation and delay claims on behalf of a subcontractor associated with the construction of a hotel. The subcontractor provided materials to the project that were alleged to be defective. Results of evaluations of claims were prepared in anticipation of arbitration proceedings, prior to settlement.
Lost Profits and Damages of a Hotel – Evaluated remediation costs, lost profits and other expenses on behalf of the hotel owner as a result of alleged delays and construction defects under a design-bid-build contract. Evaluated operational revenue and expenses to measure lost profits and other costs. Provided an affirmative report of damages, rebuttal response and assisted with litigation support.
