Project Highlights
Light Rail Extension Project – Prepared schedule updates during the construction of a $780 million 3.4-mile light rail Design-Build project in Washington State. This project included a parking garage and two aerial structures. Coordinated with various subcontractors to implement appropriate updates in monthly narratives. Analyzed and prepared time impact analysis throughout the project. Managed post design service changes throughout the project as the Engineering quality liaison for thousands of drawing changes. Working closely with field personnel, designers and the owner to implement actualized construction conditions into IFC packages. Aided project engineer and management team by packaging additional cost changes and working with the owner throughout the approval process. Prepared and analyzed labor production reports and spearheaded equipment utilization efforts.
Airport Renovation Project – Performed schedule delay analysis on behalf of one of the parties to a $5 billion public-private partnership (PPP) for finance, design, construction, operation, and maintenance for an airport terminal renovation. Reviewed CPM schedules and performed schedule delay analyses to all the different milestones with liquidated damages attached, including to overall completion. Issues evaluated included design changes, material substitution, the authority having jurisdiction review and approval of the design, and delays to construction. Construction entity made claims of over $100 million to design professional for scope changes, design errors and omissions, and associated delay and damages. Created graphical representations of delay for mediation presentation.
Terminal Renovation Project – $400 million renovation project. Provided 3-week lookahead services coordinating with numerous subcontractors to consolidate information into uniform formatting for our client. Provided claim assistance and analyzed impacted areas of the project notably causing delay due to inefficient work sequencing.
